The Festival participation serves an educational purpose and is a good learning experience for all the contestants. While listening to the performances of our festival, audiences will be exposed to a wide variety of musical instruments, interpretations and styles. This can be a truly formative experience for aspiring musicians, teachers and music lovers.
As part of our emphasis on the educational aspect of the festival, we welcome friends and family of the participants to attend the performances of the Young Artist Music Festival free of admission charge.
Every participant is given an award based on their performance in the festival. The festival is open to students of all ages, levels and instruments. The performances will be judged by well-respected judges and will be based upon individual performance; comments will be mailed to the teachers after the festival.
